Associate Product & MERN Stack Developer
About the Role
Thinqzo is a product studio. We build, operate, and scale our own B2B software products: CredoStar, a digital credentialing platform, is live. A customer success platform is in development. This role sits between product and engineering. You talk to the people who use our products, write down what they need, and then build it.
Your week splits three ways: understanding what customers need and turning it into specs someone can build from, showing customers what we built and collecting what they say, and building features with the MERN stack. You work directly with the founders and senior engineers. There is no layer between you and the product. We expect you to use AI tools daily, and to check their output before it ships.
What You'll Do
Requirements & Product
- Talk to customers and internal stakeholders; turn what they need into specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Keep requirements documented and current in a shared workspace
- Flag gaps, conflicts, and ambiguities before they reach code
- Help plan sprints and estimate work
Product Demos
- Prepare and run product demos for customers and stakeholders
- Turn demo feedback into concrete, buildable tasks
MERN Development
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack features with MongoDB, Express, React, and Node
- Build REST APIs and integrate third-party services
- Own database schemas and data modelling
- Debug, optimize, and take part in code review
AI-Assisted Workflow
- Use AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) for code, debugging, and documentation
- Validate everything AI generates before it ships
What We're Looking For
What We Need to See
- Evidence of shipping with the MERN stack: a product, side project, or codebase you can walk us through. Roughly 1–3 years of building, but what you shipped matters more than the year count.
- You can take a vague business problem and turn it into a written spec someone else can build from
- You can demo software to a non-technical audience and handle questions without a script
- AI tools are already part of how you work, and you know when to distrust them
What We Do Not Require
- A specific degree, a brand-name employer, or a certification. We evaluate what you have built.
Additional Information
- Location: Chennai, OMR Office (On-Site Only)
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on skills & experience)
- Interview Mode: In-Person (Candidate must be available in Chennai)
